Spoilers Ahead!

Riverdale’s season three was finally released on Netflix. I have watched it until I can watch no more. By that I just mean that I’ve literally watched hours of it on a daily basis in order to finish the season and write this post ASAP.

I am such a fan of this show. The vibrant characters, their personalities, and the insane problems that they face all bring you in. The show is far from realistic, but I think that is one of the most intriguing things about it.

Each season offers a new problem for the high-schoolers of Riverdale. Season one focuses on the death of Jason Blossom. Season two’s bad guys is the Black Hood. And that brings us to season three and the Gargoyle King.

Archie, Veronica, Jughead, and Betty are at it again, looking into the eerie events happening around Riverdale. A new game being played, G and G, seems to be causing some trouble in their town and they want it stopped. A lot goes on, from Archie going to prison to nuns drugging the Riverdale youth, this season was the most far fetched.

The whole G and G thing seems to be a take on the real Dungeons and Dragons game. This reminded me of Stranger Things. This season was also a little dragged out, with everything seeming to go in circles before the resolutions came about. I was tired of people playing G and G. The Black Hood also comes back, as well as Jason Bloossom.

I would still say that I am a fan of the show, but season three isn’t my favorite season. It almost seems like they were trying to make too many episodes when they could have just let the season end. I will watch season four, but I may not be as excited to binge it for the post.
