March is here and I am ready for another month filled with horror!  Are you?  This month will be jam-packed with subscription boxes and movie reviews, but I am working on some other ideas to incorporate into posts.  Here is a look at what I’m up to this month.

What I’m Subscribing To

Despite my decision to cancel my Bam Box Horror subscription, I ended up buying another month.  (They have great retention emails!)  This box should be coming soon.

I’m also subscribed to The Nocturnal Reader’s Box, as this is my favorite box!  Each box has a great selection of items from books to wearables.

I recently subscribed to HorrorPack and just received my first shipment.

What I’m Reading

With so many books coming from The Nocturnal Reader’s Box, it is hard to choose which books to read and which ones to put in the TBR pile.  This month,  What the Hell Did I Just Read by David Wong and S: Es by Koji Suzuki are at the top of the list.  I just finished Hell Hound by Ken Greenhall and will post a review in the next week or two.

I also subscribed to Rue Morgue magazine on my phone.  For those that are short on money or just want to check out a few issues before committing to a full subscription, the issues are available on iPhones for $4.99/issue.

I found a great blog from an Instagram follower a few days ago.  Everyone needs to go check Foxy Cat Coven!

What I’m Watching

For those of you following on Instagram, you may already know that I subscribed to HorrorPack.  This subscription is awesome and loaded with great content for the price.  Wednesday’s post will be a review of the HorrorPack and all the movies that came in it.

I am also planning a review post for all of the Nightmare on Elm Street films, similar to what I did in the Friday the 13th review post from February.  This time I’ll space the movies out, so it will be towards the end of the month before it is available.

I just finished Orphan Black for the second time and am working my way through Penny Dreadful now.  Both of these shows are available on Amazon Prime if you are a member.  Orphan Black follows some women who were the result of scientific experimentation.  They must fight against the odds to gain the freedom they deserve.  I don’t want to give too much away, but the main actress Tatiana Maslany does an exceptional job in her many roles!  Penny Dreadful offers werewolves, vampires, witches, demons, and possessions throughout its episodes, fulfilling all of your horror needs!  You definitely have to pay attention to this one, so it is not a background type of show.  I’ve had to restart and rewind parts of the show to make sure I don’t miss something important.

What I’m Writing

My submission for this month is for an anthology at HellBound Books Publishing.  The anthology, Schlock!  Horror!, is going to contain short stories based on the gorefest in the 1980’s.

I am thinking about adding some new content to the site, other than reviews.  Let me know what you guys are interested in.  I am looking along the lines of crafts, recipes, etc. that fit with the horror theme of the blog.  This may be a long search, but opinions help narrow down the possibilities.
